Damn, that’s very unfortunate and I’m sorry that’s the case. I don’t think you should be grateful for this. Look for a place where you’ll be valued for what you are worth. Easier said than done but I believe you shouldn’t be complacent with a situation like this. Hope things change for the better!

yes I am getting paid in USD, I work from canada on us project. No one pays insane amount in tech in canada unless you are in sales role or roles which generate revenue for the company. The best way to earn 200k is to become a freelancer and do long term contract works. I do work part time freelance work
