How’s using a MacBook for work? I’m moving to industry and the company only provides MacBooks for employees - is it difficult to learn shortcuts (I only have used windows for work and have been very comfortable utilizing shortcuts)? Additionally does anyone have a recommendation for a reasonably priced large monitor to use with the Mac?

I work as a Physician Liaison for a 8 clinic practice. I work 2 territories( Northeast & Southwest Houston). I work 40-60 hrs a week- including mandatory after hour networking events.

Im paid 55k base salary + $1 per referral, I bring in. (Average 1,100 a month). $180 bi weekly car allowance.

How does this compare to your salary?

I really want to ask for a raise…should I?

I’ve noticed on Glassdoor, salaries for my level (Director) are higher than my base but have similar bonus opportunity. At what level of pay gap would you push or make a stink? In hindsight I should have pushed more during the hiring process. At 160k base now, seeing ranges in the 170s to low 180s. These are specific to my current company.
