I agree that GH is team dependent. The healthcare strategy group has remained relatively unchanged since the acquisition (aside from the expected attrition). I’ve had a really positive experience in my 3 years here.
Can't speak for Huron, but for GH the question is very dependant on your area. Commercial vs public, strategy vs rev cycle. Some truly awesome directors and partners, some terrible. When it's good, it's absolutely amazing, when it's bad, it is no fun. Been lucky and smart enough to maximize the former and minimize the latter. YMMV.
Huron has a great culture- values their people and lots of career growth/support/opportunities
H1: DM’ed.
I’m currently there now and the RC practice is generally good then you have some leadership who are trying to milk out everything they can from you and crap on you for everything.
The last thing you expect here. You buy into the culture. At least that is how I was recruited.
Depends on what you want to do in healthcare. If you want strategy huron won’t give that to you...
Huron, Guidehouse is a dumpster fire.
Ummm, we’ve recruited and retained folks from Huron. I like Guidehouse.
Guidehouse is team and practice dependent
Not GH
I’m happy here. 🤷🏻♀️
Navigant legacy folks, can you all explain why not Guidehouse? I’ve heard that it’s a dumpster fire, but no one can seem to elaborate why.
Thanks. When I was at Navigant, it was also profit-driven because it was a public company and teams used to change all the time. Just seems like it’s gotten worse now that a PE backed firm has taken it over. I also know quite a few healthcare leaders ended up leaving, which made me question the direction the legacy Navigant aka commercial healthcare offering was headed.
Guidehouse has super shady leadership
Yup, this year
