I think you'll be fine. Isn't as big of a deal as it seems and as long as your work at your current job doesn't suffer, I doubt they'll even notice let alone call you on it.
You will be fine. I have def done this before. Unless they are REALLY monitoring your email, they will likely never know. And they would have a hard time terminating you for this anyhow.
Check on mailbox monitoring rules in your org, are all external mails monitored or any filters..? Based on that you can figure out

Why would you be terminated? How would anyone even know, unless they're actively monitoring your work email?

Literally nothing will happen. Delete the email and move on, and go on the HR system you applied through and change the email
