I always loved animals so i chose to go into veterinarian medicine. Why did you choose this route over other educational disciplines or trades?

I've always enjoyed caring for animals since I was a little girl. Once, I found a cat who had died outside and I wished that I could have saved it. I vowed then to help as many animals as I could in my life, and that passion never went away. :)

I had a family friend who worked in a vet's office, so I started helping out as an office manager & eventually became a vet tech. It was a happy accident for me!

like

I love that - a happy accident! I'm so glad it all worked out for you.

Mainly because of my passion for animals. I also know many people who choose veterinary medicine because of deep love for animals and want to make a difference in their lives. I enjoy working with animals and helping them stay healthy.

I love it! The field needs as many passionate & compassionate people as possible. :)

Same here. I really loveeee animals. I used to be even obsessed with worms when I was younger so I know I had to work with animals in my career

Hi everyone. I was a solution engineer at Oracle. I graduated from college in May and this was my first job out of college so the lay offs were pretty rough. I majored in Supply chain management and I have 2 internships under my belt. Do you guys have any advice or tips on what to do moving forward? I would like to stay in tech and I’m giving it a few weeks before I start pivoting to more traditional supply chain roles. Thanks.

I joined 6 months ago as a L5 manager. I like my team but don't enjoy the work. I also feel I was down levelled at the time of joining. Should I wait 6 months and move internally? How easy is internal mobility especially if I were to target a L6 role? Would applying outside be wise ?
