I am a clinical informaticist currently, but i was a cardiac sonographer for 10 years prior. As a sonographer i got my degree in sonography, and became registered through ARDMS after passing my boards. I still maintain my RDCS credentials. I also have my BA in business administration. Now as a CI im wondering what type of credentialing would be most beneficial for future jobs? Masters program? Any certificates I can gain in the meantime? not sure what the most "widely recognized" credential is?

It’s hard to trust the partners/leadership when they want us to return to office as being better when we increase offshoring? Also, the pressure on billable hours when all that really matters is how much our fixed labor costs vs. how much we can bill (which is usually fixed fee or at least a range) and the fixed labor costs of offshoring is significantly cheaper so the hours don’t matter. Am I mistaken by this viewpoint?
