I am a manager and my boss, currently going for partner, is changing cluster as there he has more chances.
He invited me to go with him. Should I go or should I stay in my cluster?what should i consider? Any advice on next steps?

- we are in consulting
- i have very good relationship with my boss’ boss, a partner (hence worried he might not be happy)
- new cluster is very close the one I am in, so no topic change
- do not know new cluster, not sure if it accelerates my senior manager case

I got an offer from teksystems India for hpe client. My question is what will happen if someday HPE don't want us to work for them anymore or maybe project development ends...so will teksystems move us to different client within 2 month (as they say) or will they fire us?

Anyone else just sitting around waiting for the ax to drop? I'm a soon to be 2nd year corporate associate who has seen work completely dry up. My utilization held pretty steady around 50% immediately after shutdown, but August was below 15 billables with no appreciable work in the pipeline. After spending 4 years as a mid-level ops manager, I tried to break into HR through talent acquisition. Now after 6 years in TA, I've had a hard time getting out of it. My goal was always to get into a more broad HRBP position, but I've since worked for smaller orgs without a solid HR career path. When I ask about my career goals, they keep telling me, "Soon!"
