Hey brand side bowl! Hope it’s ok to post this brand side role here. A recruiter reached out to me for a social media strategist role at OnePlus in Dallas, however I’m not looking to move.
I told her I knew some qualified people, she gave me the Job description: https://www.linkedin.com/jobs/view/1918378739
She also said if any qualified applicants are interested they can message her directly:

I know times are hard so pass this along to social people who might need a gig
Not a meme but…

Where’s everyone partying tonight 💃🏻

Nobody gets malpractice insurance in house.

I have never heard of IHC maintaining their own coverage. I haven’t at either of my IHC roles. When I registered with my state bar, it actually asks for insurance info, and there’s a space for your insurance info if you’re at a firm, and an “N/A - I’m In-House” option for IHC.
I worried about the same thing. None of the attorneys I worked with had malpractice insurance or identification agreements. They basically said if you screwed up you'd get fired and they weren't worried about being sued

Look to your state’s labor laws. Often employers need to indemnify employees for incurred costs in the scope of their role. Which many have interpreted to cover defense for malpractice claims.

Couldn’t say. What does the company handbook say? These are often addressed at law, making employers deal with claims employees have to deal with. I’ve never heard of IHC obtaining malpractice
I work for a small NY company and their insurance plans don’t include attorney malpractice :/
Should be part of the insurance policy but it’s not “malpractice insurance”. It will be written a different way to cover all employees.
I have Employed Lawyers Professional Liability coverage. Your insurance broker should be familiar with that coverage and can tell you if you are already covered by something similar.
