I am a newly admitted attorney, and I've decided I will not practice law. It was a massive shock to my family because they knew the difficulties I experienced preparing for the bar exam. I am now seeking to transition to the compliance field. Recruiters have said my resume is a huge red flag because of my recent bar admission.If hired, employers fear I may subsequently leave for a GC position. Has anyone had a successful transition from legal to compliance without experience?

For those of you in healthcare related account management, what is your healthcare background? I am clinical and getting ready to hire a higher level account manager. I am really biased toward people with clinical/in hospital experience because, quite frankly, healthcare is a different beast - lots of hand holding and change management. What exit opportunities exist for international arbitration? I don’t want to litigate, and am a non-American so government jobs (which seem to be what my colleagues are exiting into) aren’t an option for me. I don’t ever see myself making partner (nor do I want to), and I feel totally stuck.
