OP from your post it’s not clear whether you are international. Be aware that PwC doesn’t sponsor internationals. If I were you, I would check that so you don’t waste time and energy

Yes, if they sponsor you can always go ahead and take interviews etc. but joining now a new company is not recommended. Pwc must be in dire straits that its recruiting now.
