No, his language is divisive and hateful. His "policies" have no plan for execution. He doesn't care enough to develop thoughtful policy positions. His demeanor is that of a petulant child. He has no principles and changes stance with the wind.
Hilary is evil, but at least she's a known evil. If Trump were to actually execute every half-brained idea of his, we would be far worse off than another 4-8 years of Obama/Clinton policies.
I'm voting Johnson.
Trump has no political experience. You don't just get elected president and start passing laws, you need to work with others, even those you don't agree with to get them passed. Everything I see of him tells me he will not be able to work with people across the aisle to get things done. He doesn't seem to have the attention span to directly answer questions about how he plans to execute his promises let alone actually implement them.
I'm going with this. The dude pumps out smokes, you can't get anymore American than that. Lol
^ there are none. If he actually took the inheritance his daddy gave him and invested In a s&p fund he might actually be a billionaire today, he has failed in everything he has touched except maybe the apprentice but that was mark burnett who came up with idea
A1: preach
OP, I'm with you
Look at Venezuela to see what would happen if he got into power, print more money get his friends into office.
@D9, are suggesting DD1's friend and her dad are illegally resident in the US? How else will deport him? More so, who is likely to 'bomb s nation into oblivion...? A politician or a businessman? I guess the question should read: "who has bombed a nation to oblivion"? Libya comes to mind...
Gary Johnson anyone? He legit
Trump is saying the "bitter truth"?!?
1. Violent crime is at an all time low. Yet he insists we need to elect him because america isn't safe
2. Global terrorism is also very very low compared to any point in history. The problem is that media is so pervasive and information travels so fast these days you hear about it more and perceive it as more common. The Nice terror attack? Today you heard about it literally as it happened. 50 years ago you might have seen it in the Sunday paper, and maybe never. ISIS is not a threat to the average American- you're far far far more likely to die on the cab ride to the airport on Monday or by a falling construction scaffold when you walk under one later today.
3. Unemployment is steadily decreasing and is at 5%. Saying He will "focus on coal" plays to the insecurities of people working those positions but it's not feasible to guarantee their jobs. The energy industry is moving away from coal probably for good. Trump as president can't fix that.
Trump is manipulating people based on their perceived insecurities of the world and he's doing very very well at it. OP you believing him - now THAT is a bitter truth
Watch the West Wing. Now, whether you're conservative or progressive, try and imagine someone with Trump's intellect, temperament and temper in the Oval Office instead of Bartlett. If you think that's a good thing, I'd hate to see the recommendations you make to your clients.
Fair Point, @ D11. But we have seen folks with nicer temperaments invade sovereign nations - sometimes without congress approval. Just saying. I think one issue that will dominate debates is the state of global (in)security prior to our intervention in Libya and Syria and the emerging immigration crisis Europe and the US will have to deal with.
He's a failure
To the person who said they'd rather have trump because he has "nothing to lose"...
He, and all of us, have so damn much to lose. We live in a country with one of the highest standards of living in this history of the world. Our global economy and security are both based on the American system of each, and for that we benefit massively. Trump starts breaking treaties and making the country isolationist and all that goes away
I would just like to say ,that as an American, I am embarrassed by this pony show of a presidential election. Neither Hilary nor Trump are even close to being decent candidates.
And for those that believe Trump is "speaking the truth," let it be know that he won Politifact's 2015 Lie of the Year award for his campaign distortions and has set a new low for truthfulness in politics:

Like what?
He is making a fool out of you OP. Have fun after u vote for him and he says "gotcha"
Agree we aren't electing a king here, he does not have ultimate power how does he plan to get anything done
Good. But, what other options you have Hillary? Come on. Enlighten me please? May be I don't know how she can be a good prez!
OP think about it this way- would you hire him as your doctor? No, he's not qualified. Would you hire him as your architect? No, he's not qualified. Why on earth then would you elect him to the highest governing position in the world when the stakes are so high then?
Pwc3, I don't actually think Hilary is evil, I say this because most Trump supporters I've encountered are using the "lesser of 2 evils" rationale
