It depends on the size of the company overall, is this a start up with potential to grow and receive salary reviews ongoing based on performance, is this a remote position or in house, etc. I've spent the majority of my career working remotely in similar roles (US) for start ups and in many cases the starting pay is in the range you're being offered, however the salary has always increased quickly over time provided the company is doing well and within a year (or two) I've managed to double my salary by negotiating the terms of the initial contract. If you have a good relationship with the company and have seen this first hand and you love the job, personally I think it is worth it to move forward. I disagree with the 6 figure starting wage as it is not common in my experience entry level with such a small team and something you have to work for in order to earn that amount. I would also note that in my state for instance, minimmum wage is only $7.25 hourly and if yours is similar, it's not a bad option. If you aren't happy after a year (or less even), you have the experience under your belt to search elsewhere and go for higher salary positions. Also keep in mind the benefits, bonus structure, ask for stock options to compensate for the lower salary, etc.
I am a Senior CS Director with a team of 7 in the midwest US and I make $180K plus 20% variable based on GRR targets. You are being vastly underpaid due to working your way up in the company.
