I am currently a Senior Analyst at a JLL but I am looking to transition and get into Private Equity Real Estate in a Development or Acquisitions role. I am interested in Multi-family but am open to learning about different opportunities within Private Equity. Does anyone have advice on companies or positions to target for these kind of roles? Also how to put myself in the best position to be an attractive candidate?
Thank you for any help or advice you can give me.

I currently work in Private (GA) Aviation & have for some time (about 12 years) I’m currently making the switch to the Department of Aviation and am unsure if I should ditch my current job (in private) and go full force with the DOA & embrace this new opportunity educationally and gather as much experience as I can or keep both jobs even though I’d be working 80hr weeks.. I love the private world but am really ready to move up. I don’t know what I should do. Any suggestions?

I had an initial interview on Wednesday. About an hour later, I got a call from an internal recruiter from the same company wanting to follow up and see how the interview went. I didn’t see the voicemail until the following morning when I was at work and called her back that afternoon when I was out of work. I still haven’t heard from her. Is this normal? Should I not try calling back again? I’ve been at my job for several years, so I am unfamiliar with how I should handle a situation like this.
