I am currently an adviser at Fidelity. Does anyone know how difficult it would be to get a position in the financial realm… but at an engineering or tech firms? How would I find a position like that and/or what would the names of these be. I would like to hold my licenses but would be willing to give them up. Ideally working with the firms investment ventures but I don’t really know what’s out there.

What % haircut should be expected? As an example, if I make 100k (base + commission) today, would it be realistic to ask for 90k (10% cut) + equity to make up the difference?
