Is Morgan Stanley currently remote? Just got a job for a contract position in NYC for Morgan Stanley downtown office (1 Penn plaza). I heard from some employees that they are remote but the hiring manager said I should come into office. Kinda confused why a contractor would need to come into office and employees are working remote.

As an advisor your skills would be a bit tricker to translate over in to a financial team at a tech firm as it’s more accounting skills they are after - excel and coding skills are being more sought after for these roles more often. So, would recommend looking into getting some training in these skills.
However, I would probably recommend looking more in to business analyst/business advisor roles as these are probably more suited for the skills an advisor would have. These people work closely with the finance team using the data they provide to make day to day decisions.
Hope that’s a bit useful for you.
I am having a hard time understanding what you are asking. Please clarify.
Look for advice. I am a relationship banker looking to move from one company to another. I used to work for one of the biggest banking companies. I'm looking to work for smaller banks. I interview well but just can't close the deal. Any advice that could help me close the deal and land the job?
