I am currently an underwriter and received a potential offer to move into a Senior Asset Manager role. The move is advantageous in the sense of leadership opportunity and managing 1.6 billion worth of loans. The issue is the team is very weak (no knowledge) and the manager is remote and never managed a team before. The position would not be until 2023 and the pay will be similar to the raise I will get if I stay in my current role. I will also be starting my MBA this year. Takes 2 years.
