Do you think it's worth it to do the CPA if I might decide to remain in the US?

I'm currently doing the ACCA, but not sure how easy/hard does it stack up agains the CPA.

Is sticking up for yourself even worth it? My boss is always on my ass as if I’m constantly missing, or about to miss, deadlines. I’ve never missed one. Did not join because HR was so unresponsive during the discussion phase that I completely lost interest and joined elsewhere instead. Though I did email them 2 weeks in advance that due to so much of non-response, I am not interested anymore.
