I am currently working in Verizon as MTS II there are multiple rounds of layoff going on people are working there for severance pay currently.I got a offer from TCS but I am confused whether I should drop papers with this offer and get some other offer in 60 days NP.Or should I wait here for severance pay and then search for other opportunities later. Currently I have 7 years exp as Java dev. My CTC is 20.2 lpa but TCS offers 27lpa(24 fixed).Verizon it is hybrid - 3 days office TCS - 5 days WFO.

Does Globant terminates the employment of certain trainees after their probation(3 Months) based on their performance in the training period? Some of the fresher trainees were laid off this morning without giving a notice or reason.

We were told that the probation period is a training period & not an elimination one. It was shocking as a few of those trainees were actually good.

Job transition question: I recently accepted an offer for a new role with Merrill Lynch, the following day I was fired from my previous employer. I haven’t filled out the updated work history background check info yet. The reason for termination was due to performance expectations not being met. Should I reach out to my new employer and let them know that I’ve been terminated? Should I just put the termination update on the background check form and leave it at that? Wondering what I should do.

I have not been on a project for over 3 months. Since I joined, I have been put in training. The training got extended by a month and now it's close to 4 months since I joined and without a project.

Better designing takes time. Ni bas jaldi krdo! I mean its not food that will rotten if 2 ka 3 din hogya! Seriously start the work in chaos and then later say “We understand everything is complicated in this project but it is how it is and we have to work hard to tackle this!” I mean it was you who made it complicated!

Hi Fishes, I've 2.25 Years of experience in SAP Basis, but I've lost interest in the same due to not receiving proper training, inability to practice on customer's system and shifts.
