I am flying around Europe (Air France and Lufthansa) in a few weeks. I know European Carry on sizes are generally a little smaller. Have you guys traveled in European airlines with regular 22 inch carry on, hard or soft case, and was that an issue? I don’t want to buy a new suitcase for half an inch.

From seat guru regarding Lufthansa:

All carry-on luggage must fit in the overhead bin or under the seat in front of you and adhere to the following requirements: Maximum Dimensions of Carry-on Luggage: 55cm x 40cm x 23cm / 22in x 16in x 9in (length x width x height)

Think you should be good unless you’re flying Ryanair

Keep in mind: for low cost airlines like Ryanair, you have to pay for carry on (usually around 15-20€ per flight).

I always fly to Europe with a bigger size carry-on and I can barely lift it up on the way back, and never ever had an issue

The Blue Crab Bar was so sure that its bartender was the strongest man around that they offered a standing $1000 bet. The bartender would squeeze a lemon until all the juice ran into a glass, and hand the lemon to a patron. Anyone who could squeeze one more drop of juice out would win the money. Many people had tried over time (weight-lifters, longshoremen, etc.) but nobody could do it.

One day this scrawny little man came into the bar, wearing thick glasses ... continued in comments

I’ve been told my company is changing my title from Associate Director of BD to Sales Executive. I’m concerned it reads like a title demotion. Is it just semantics? How will this look for my career development? Curious about the standard perception of Sales Executive from a seniority perspective. Where does this land on the sales roles hierarchy? For context, it’s a professional services firm, I’ve been there 3+years, and they gave a Sales Executive title to someone who just started 5mo ago.

What office does everyone workout of?

LinkedIn is a garbage app where I can’t even post my opinion or experience because it will go against the mainstream ideologies. If I even “like” a post then I worry that my peers and managers see what I like and suddenly I need inclusivity training. What a load of shit! You can’t be who you truly are on that app. Which is why I like fishbowl so much, the anonymity is a game changer. If LinkedIn was a anonymous, we’d see a lot more support for Kanye and a lot less LGBQT material. Bet!
