Chief
Generally the contracts in the middle East with these small companies are body shopping jobs where you will land up working directly with the bank but as a contractor. So neither the vendors nor the bank folks give much respect to you and you will have to really assert your authority, since you will be responsible for the delivery. Generally it's high pressure and good feedback is most important. If things go south, your small company might not be able to place you in another role and you might have to leave the company. But having said that, 15000 AED (~3lac INR per month) with acco is a good salary (it's tax free) and a good opportunity to save a lot of it since the main cost of living is acco and transport and your accommodation is being taken care of. If it's UAE, Bahrain or Qatar you won't find it much different from India.
Thanks alot for your valuable reply. Yes per the information I received the client is a big company but they are yet to comfirm the location. If its UAE or Qatar only then I will consider that.
YOE and tech stack?
I think the offer with CTS is good, you can ask for counter offer from IBM as well. Not sure how far you can ask because that require to know YOE.
If the client for which you are going to work in Middle-east is a large one you can go for it and later on ask for a permanent employment. just cross verify that after a year or so will they make you permanent employment or not?
Thanks for the reply. 7 years and SAP FICO. Yes i already mailed IBM for counter offer. I am just waiting to clear this interview discussion with Middle East, still unaware of the position, client name, but I know its 1 year contract
I think with 7 years and current market you can ask for 28 - 30 max i guess.
All the best for the interview
