Who has bad law April Fool's jokes?
Hello Fishes,
I left capegemini on 4th of Feb and I still haven't got my relieving letter as well as experience letter. I'm trying to access my capegemini portal from webvpn.capgemini.com but I'm not able to access that either. Please suggest me what should be done, my next employer is asking for relieving letter.

See if you can get involved with your local association of certified fraud examiners chapter. You’ll meet a lot of people in the field and can see what opportunities might be in your area. And potentially get your CFE as well too. Not a crazy cert to get by CPA standards, but can help you “get the conversation started” on you being a fraud professional.
Once you have a more solid ground for what you want to do in forensics, I’d start focusing on a specific function and tailor your background to that. For example, do you want to contribute in a risk management and compliance capacity vs. a 3rd party investigations and disputes capacity?
Given things in the US forensics roles for the government might be a bit hairy at the moment, but there are also a lot of agencies that have roles in this space as well (if you are US based).
@VP2 - the test is not difficult, but the credential is hardly a “joke.” It lets those of us in senior roles know that you’re serious about wanting to do forensics and you didn’t just hear a fun story and say “I want to do fraud”…which happens all the time with newer tax/audit people. It is also critical when testifying as it’s hard to say you’re an expert in investigations when you don’t even have the most widely recognized credential in the field. Easy ammo for opposing counsel.
If you are CPA look into the CFF by the AICPA.
