Bain & Company Hello, I received an offer as a Senior Practice Manager at Bain. The profit sharing range is 0-12% in the offer letter. Is it typical to receive the midpoint (6%)? Also, what do the annual salary increases typically look like? Any insights are much appreciated. Bain & Company Boston Consulting Group McKinsey & Company

Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

Another vote for abf upack. They drop a trailer at your residence. You load it. They pick it up and drive it to the location. Cheaper than most. Pods and similar, you're paying extra for the portability.
You wont be able to fit them in a NYC apt anyway. Why bother
I did a pod.
Should have sold everything instead.
Uhaul has these containers they’ll ship to a uhaul location near you & you pick up/return... but you’ll need to pick it up with a truck/car that has a tow hitch
ABF does a U-Pack container that's dramatically cheaper than Pods etc and their staff are always amazing. SFO/NYC is hard though depending on your buildings on either end. For packing etc, you may just want to hire a proper moving company to do the work hourly on both ends.
UPACK- totally worth it.
But before you move everything you may want to consider what you really want to keep and what you could sell in SF and repurchase later in NY. Moving cross country made me realize how much extra “stuff” I had and it didn’t make sense to pay a ton of money to move it when it could be replaced for less
Rent a uhaul and learn how to drive
And Penske > UHaul. I've always found UHaul's pricing to be highway robbery, pardon the pun.
^Penske pricing is better, however got contacted 3 years later claiming damage on truck I didn't cause.
Don’t or can’t?
Greyhound ships for cheap !
Sell it. Buy new stuff. Cheaper + get new stuff.
