I am planning to apply for the Manufacturing Supervisor position(Charles River Laboratories). They are asking for a min Associate degree, 3 yrs of applicable experience, and 1 yr of leadership/supervisor experience. I am confused about what "applicable experience" means. I have both BS and MS, over 2 yrs supervisor experience, and 4.5 years non-manufacturing lab experience in an academic setting where I also manage the machines, maintain them, and follow regulations etc. Would it be a long shot?

Prior to consulting I have 10 yrs of Pharma experience with a MS in Engineering (non-CS) and data science. Fluent in Python, Ruby and Java but never coded professionally. Spent several years in process engineering and then project management. Interested in tech or digital health. Any advice on companies, roles and levels?

So I get that in a corporate set up, you are supposed to be sharp and witty and think on your feet. Trouble is, I am extremely slow with comebacks. (Think Ross in Friends/Amy in B99) at the crunch moment, I generally end up not being able to give a good roast back. Unfortunately the best of them come to me like a few hours later (dinner/shower/TV) and I am left ruing and amazing opportunity to have gotten one back. I am awful at jibes and roasts.

Anyone else suffer from this?

I'm at a point where the salary I'm getting is disrespectfully low for all the work I do. Should I ask for a raise? And if so, how do I go about asking without sounding greedy.
