Depends on PE firm and what projects you get placed on to develop your skills
IMO I could be wrong - EY opportunity sounds like a lot of work but there’s potential to learn a lot and if you’re coming from IM or FS fields at PwC it’d be practically the same (the change in teams and culture could potentially make a difference), the consulting for a PE firm consultant sounds more appealing to me but can be more challenging if it’s more demanding with higher expectations, or crappy if you hate the people. It does depend on the groups, clients, and work you get too...
