Hi All,
I joined Tech Mahindra for 5 days only and didn't find suitable timing for my project and emailed resignation mail to manager and HR. After that HR asked me to resign over portal but at the same time blocked my portal. After requesting many times they didn't unblock my portal and pretended like they want to unblock but there is some issue going on and marked my profile absconded. I have cleared fnf but they are not providing reliving letter but added pf amount also. What to do?

Why would they staff you if you are about to get laid off? Almost makes me think that the reason for you getting laid off is not performance related. If that the case then the answer should be clear...

Like other fishes say why do you think you’re going to be laid off? I wouldn’t think you’d get staffed if they were planning to lay you off. Wait until your year end review before you get worried, unless you were on a PIP, and then yeah your worries would be justified.
Irrespective, just update your resume and start looking. If you have to worry about it now, then you’ll worry about it until it unfortunately happens. Good luck!

Knock it out of the park and try to get a client offer before your 2 months are up. Then you’ll be the client 😈

Always place boundaries. If your work is not going to land you on front page news the next morning then go to sleep and start anew the following business day.
Will the project help boost or enhance your CV ? What about giving you better learning or experience ?

OP - Currently in your situation. I was putting effort in my project 12+ hours and weekends hoping that they wouldn’t lay me off but then I said the heck with this.
Working Normal hours and am sure to get laid off in September so why beat myself Instead enjoy your personal time
OP - I am also one of those that raises there hand to much. I do it so my team doesn’t get ran over by management but they dislike that I am vocal and blunt about situations best of luck in your future endeavors

I would proceed with doing your job while filling out applications for other places.
If you’re not pip’d or haven’t received bad AERT reviews you will likely be fine. If you think they will use the layoffs as an excuse to retaliate against you then that’s a different story and you should document communications between you and whoever has it out for you.
