There were 8 Black donors available at the time I chose 3 of whom could only be purchased if you had a sibling already because they were overused. The other 5, I simply wasn’t attracted to & would never date or procreate with. I chose an Afro Latino donor that was most melanated. Is it weird that I’m constantly being judged anyway? I’ve been told I should’ve chosen a Black donor regardless ….

To do an ERA or not before transfer is the question. My clinic said currently the recommendation is to only do an ERA with multiple transfer fails, but I’ve read about ERA’s for those with recurrent pregnancy loss as well. Anyone go through this experience?

My husband and I want to start a family so in preparation for pregnancy I tried lowered my Vyvanse dose from 40 mg to 30 mg to see if I could get by on lower dose. I feel like I’m not even taking medicine at all. When you lowered a dose did you get used to this feeling or should I know right away that this isn’t going to work? I feel withdrawal like my brain is slow and I can’t keep a thought in my mind long enough to finish the thought. I’m on day 4 and it sucks!

Has anyone been successful in negotiating the schedule on a global pregnancy bill? My provider won't bill by visit and split the global cost into four payments all due by the 28th week. I don't understand how that's legal since it is so off the calendar of services and crosses calendar years (and insurance coverage), where most costs are incurred at the end of pregnancy with increased visit frequency and delivery.

For those who were diagnosed as an adult can you provide some insight into how you were able to obtain a diagnosis. I went to my primary care dr who referred me to another dr who specialized in mental health. He asked me about 5 questions before telling me I should see a neuropsychologist for an official assessment. The referral he gave me is super pricey and apparently isn’t covered by insurance. Is that normal?
