Additional Posts in BIG4 UK (Moving from India)
I was interviewed at EY UK on 7th Sep. It was quite smooth. Since then I haven't heard anything back from them though interviewer claimed SLA to get back with outcome of interview is 48 hours. On portal it still says I'm in hiring team phase. It was level 1 interview.
Should I take this delay as rejection?

bruh focus on wife and your boy, what would you do with additional 70-80K savings if your relationship suffers and god forbid she wants to leave you?
At 22LPA, I’d recommend head back to India and be with your family. Even after a comfortable life you’ll save 1L/month and your salary will increase faster than in the UK
don’t miss out seeing your kid grow up and a chance to be with a wife who just wants to be with you irrespective of the place :)
Good luck!
There are ample remote jobs available in the UK. Unsure if your wife wants to work or not but that can give a good boost to your savings?
I have the same family life as yours buddy. I got chance to work in kpmg uk but I rejected it. I can't live without family and my family esp my son i love him he is 5 I don't want him to miss his dad while he is growing up. What's the point in going to UK.
And further after working so hard in India do you and your family son deserve to live in PG like home ? I was offered 65 k and i found savings will be less than India. I would rather travel there with family and enjoy. If you still wana go take a better salary. Because with this salary you won't be able to survive.
Can you let us know please your location in UK and current salary so that we can suggest something?
London 45k including 10%variable
@UBS1 - a person earning 45k living alone can easily save 2k a month. When i started at 54k which is 3365 per month,my expense is 2.5k a month with a dependent. So i am not really surprised.
