Hi fishes,
I am planning a switch so was going through some salary data for a software engineer. My ex-senior manager recommended me a website: Growceed.com which helped me a lot in getting clarification about a lot of things but I am in doubt whether the average salaries of software engineer mentioned on Growceed.com really that much in top MNC companies.

If youre just looking at domestic economy flights, the portal usually works out to be the better deal. F/J international is the sweet spot for xfer partners.
The CSR portal, powered by Expedia, is exactly the same as just booking for cash at a 1.5cpp rate. Transferring makes more sense for international and premium cabin bookings because of sweet spots on airline award charts.
I think you’re just saying you’re having trouble finding a good redemption in the airlines’ sites. There’s an art to that, to be sure, but that’s not really dependent on Chase n
the Chase travel portal they are 20-30% cheaper. Am I doing something wrong?
I was looking at a round trip to Italy. It seems like it’s time dependent though
When looking at transfer partners do you try all of them, or do you stick to the airlines you fly? I see some airlines I’ve never heard of that are cheap...But unsure how safe these are
If they’re certified to fly in and out of the US, you’re fine. Safety on long-haul airlines is extraordinary high. Even on a plane as flawed as the 737Max, it had flown thousands of flights without incident before the first crash. Also, since those are grounded, you’ll likely be on a 767 or A330, which have absolutely sterling safety records.
Hyatt and United are the easy transfer partners
All the xfer partners are safe and honestly all the international ones have better products than US carriers. One thing to look into is fuel surcharges though (BA for example is crazy).
Chase portal is just Expedia. It would probably be cheaper depending on airline, etc.
You’re getting 1.5 cents a point, maybe that’s where you’re getting confused?
