Our Philadelphia-area boutique firm whose practice works exclusively with nonprofits and charities is hiring due to growth. Tax is the basis of Exempt Org work. That is why I am posting here. Great practice working to further charitable missions of our clients. Good WLB (1300 hour billable requirement). Opportunity for the right person to work remotely. Find a new job
It's time for a change. You can get through tough times with good leadership. It doesn't sound like that exists for you right now.
What do you want them to do to make it right if everyone shares the same sentiment?
Yeah, I would get a new job. Not every fight is worth it, especially if it’s detrimental to your emotional and mental health.
Don’t waste your time at this employer. Consider this job a paycheck that you need to hang on to until you find the right role. Especially in this tough market where even the most experienced folks are having a tough time landing new roles. Do bare minimum that will allow you to keep the job. Spend rest of the time looking for another one

Agree with this here…leave because there ARE greener pastures, but best if you can line it up before you quit.
If you don’t care about your job, stop putting in 100% and putting it more on yourself and the search for your next job.
Your health >>>>> any job. If you even wonder about how to change their mind, I have 0 doubts you'll be able to find a better job. Prioritize yourself.
Ps: I'm here if you need someone to talk to 🫂
Time to do some soul searching and determine if this industry is even right for you, YouTube is full of people finding happiness leaving big4, I banks, management consulting and choose a happier journey
After spending 20 years in big4, I find alot of people are not too happy, you can see the common theme in fishbowl and similar sites historically, it’s an extremely demanding work environment… and there are really a lot of ways to live your life
Imagine if you have terminal cancer and die in 2 months, is this what you wanted to do, might be a bit extreme but I had colleagues went thru that.
Then quit d1
Which company and practice are you in?
Got your resume ready? How many years there? Update your profile on LinkedIn. Work with at least one recruiter and an inside recruiter if one of those reach out to you. I got a mix of luck with ambition to switch companies for a better role and 40% raise. Once you get an offer, see if your company will match or come close. Otherwise, move on and be appreciated more.
How much are you making?
You do by leaving.
