Hi everyone, I'm comparing two offers from Accenture and Cognizant. Could you help me figure out some of these questions: 1. At 5 YOE, what kind of package can I expect? Current offers: Accenture (12LPA fixed, 2.5L variable), Cognizant (14.3LPA fixed, 45K variable) 2. Nature of work - What kind of work can I expect from these companies? 3. would I get the opp to use any authoring Tools? 4. Work life balance - which is better? 5. Increments - avg % hike? 6. Culture - which is better?
Hi all,
Does your organization have a good work-life balance, especially for IDs? Or do you know any such organisation? Currently I am working for more than 12 hours a day. I am a mother of one year old, hence, want to switch to the organization, which has less work pressure.
Wil be grateful to you for the suggestions. Accenture Cognizant MindTickle Encora IBM Infosys

The ID bootcamp by Vyaktitva is really good. Also learn by watching videos by Tim Slade on YouTube, and reading books like Design for how people learn, Cathy Moore's action mapping. You may also tie up to do some freelance practice projects with the leading eLearning firms. It's important to get this hands on experience, before u get into ID full time as you should know if you like the workz which differs massively from one project to another.
