I current work with regulatory interpretation and legal analysis for my job. I’m burned out and beyond bored. I really would like to work for myself but don’t know if that’s feasible yet, I need the financial stability. I’d like to do something creative or social but work from home so it needs to be a telecommute job. Any tips for deciding on a new step?

I am about to transition from being a junior partner at a large law firm (my practice has focused on private equity M&A) to Deputy General Counsel at a large-ish Pubco.
