I don't want to go back to school whatsoever. It's not for me. How could I still advance my career (I'm an auditor) and pivot within the industry?

I gave one round of technical interview with HCL and submitted supporting documents to HR and iboard with CCTC : 10 lakh, ECTC : 20 lakh.
While i was waiting for a call from HR for salary negotiation, The offer letter has been released for 15 lakh CTC without a discussion on salary. Please advice if there a stipulated timeline to accept the offer letter within ? Do they call for negotiation if I don't accept the offer ?

They offered me less than what I’m making now, I’m currently fully remote and this role would be hybrid, meaning I would have increased gas costs and clothing costs as well.

Under RA it was possible to leverage some work in ICRS or non-audit clients as "consulting work" but we're basically losing that bridge as far as I understand. I'd like to still think there's opportunities outside of just IT Audit waiting for me but have my doubts.
