I have recently started an investment platform for angel investors and entrepreneurs. It is 100% free for everyone while we build a following. We already have 20 pitches live and would appreciate my fellow consultants/fishes showing support and signing up for the platform! Please DM with any questions. Thanks in advance!

I love it
Probably more comfortable than the bench tho
Not a fan of reading?
When advertising manifests as hostile architecture, I find it hard to like.
Rising Star
Looks cozy.
It feels like something that would work better on a park bench or in an airport or mall. This does feel insensitive at a bus stop.
But to add, it would def suck if this was a brand that cared about people health or wellness. It’s pringles so it’s fitting, the seats (chips) make us feel good at first, but in reality they’re not helping anyone, maybe even hurting some (like messing with the one flat raised area that has a free roof over it). I feel like it aligns with the brand now lol

When a brand gets this intrusive into public spaces, it starts to very much feel like Idiocracy/"Welcome to Costco, I love you" territory. It's really close to something like a public playground sponsored by brands where kids would be clambering and sliding all over equipment made of giant sizes Coke and Mountain Dew cans, riding the Cheetos slide and the Pringles see saw or something. It's dehumanizing even without the hostile architecture aspect re: ppl who just want to lay down and sleep on it

I actually agree with you 100%. Our taxes should facilitate parks. Not serve as corporate welfare where we are lucky to get anything in return.

Full disclosure: I want to be buried in a Pringles tube.
Good enough for the inventor of Pringles.

Whoever runs that Twitter account needs to touch grass.

It’s fine.
Would you prefer horizontal Pringle tubes for the homeless to sleep in? 🙄
Chief
Less homeless in Lima than in any meth/opiod infested US town tho.
Rising Star
I’m pretty sure this is not in Peru. Those black stop signs that warn of too much sodium or fat in junk food are a Mexican government legal requirement. I would be very surprised if Peru had the exact same way of displaying whatever information is required by law there.
Rising Star
Oh wow! Thanks for the source article.
I just feel like it would be humiliating for a little old lady, tired from the day's shopping and waiting for the bus to go home, to be made to sit on a giant plastic Pringle.
Rising Star
Sounds like ageism. Old people can like Pringles too.
Adding “Having sex on a giant Pringle” to my bucket list.
I think it's awesome. We are not designing for the homeless. So many sensitive now AND everyone is offended.
Rising Star
After reading your comments, I guess they could have made the roof of the bus stop a giant stack of Pringles. And not be hostile design.
Rising Star
But what about all of the people who sleep on the roof?
