Hello, I am working in HCL Technologiesas L1 resource my CWL is nagpur but I want to change my working location . It was changed a few months back but they have referred back to nagpur again saying because of some policies so I asked for a project change thought it may be useful for location change, it's been 23 months in my current project I asked for release but my sdm is not willing to release. When this happens this quickly - its because the client did not think you had the skills to be on the account from day 1. The client had already conveyed that to the Smgr / Partner.
The chances that you were going to get rolled off in under 2 weeks was probably 90%+
If you had kept quiet - the client would have rolled you off for not having a big enough impact.
If you had said something else - they client would have rolled you off for not having enough experience
Your comment - was generational....basically something that I would expect from someone younger than 30. If I were the exec in the room - I would have made a comment about how excited you were and left it at that.
My guess is that behind the scenes - your bosses had sold you to the client as an expert. The client disagreed and was waiting for any reason to end things with you.
I believe it was a tweet mentioning an alleged part of the movie where they said that, making fun that as nobody saw the movie then nobody can know if that’s a real part or not (of course it isn’t)
I mean if she offered to help you find a new project it’s probably unrelated

What’s your level, how many days into the project were you, and what was the context of your exclamation (in-person? positive vs negative outcome of meeting? number of client stakeholders present?)
Have you tried suggesting that you relaunch the project? That's the only way to be truly morbin my fella!

Take nothing personal at all in business. You’ll go nuts from it. You could be great, but someone thinks you remind them of a person they did not like, or an x, or what ever. People can be very shitty in business, but also yeah avoid saying it’s Morbin time 😉👍

People should accept humanity and stop being so rigid and pretentious. God forbid anyone risks losing a client. The client probably likes you because you’re not a tightly wound sociopath that is only out for themselves (clients can tell).
