It’s not that hard, most people just don’t want to learn and risk failing
Check out www.sba.gov. join a local chapter. mine offers mentorship, coaching, and expert advice from other members.
I’m in the same boat, know I’ll always regret it if I never try so have a date in mind to hand in my notice and just give it a go
What kind of business would you like to start
Go for it, it’s worth it. You learn as you go, especially when hitting roadblocks. Building something that is yours is a great feeling.
If it doesn’t work out, you can take that experience and perspective with you to help look at business problems differently.
I just did that actually. Mainly because my 50-60 work week as a consultant at 110TC (25M w/0YOE - just finished my first year). Doesn’t feel that “busy” to me, and far from enough monetary benefits from it. So started a B2B lead generation company with two good friends. We have 2 clients after 1 week and got another 4 close to closing. Make about 2-4k a month per client per month. I enjoy it a lot, consulting and this business, but tbh I just like being busy and working hard so instead of finding a higher paid job, I thought going out on my (in a small group) own might just be better.
100%
I mean, respect. I could never, because I think turning anything I’m passionate about into a money thing would just crush it for me. Plus I love a stable paycheck lol.
