I feel that sometimes our HR initiatives fail not because they’re bad—but because they’re overcomplicated. What’s something you’ve simplified that worked better?

I agree. Simplicity works better. I have seen initiatives land stronger when they are clear and easy to follow rather than overly detailed.

I’m currently a quality control analyst in the biopharma/gene therapy field making 72k base in the Houston area. I’ve been working here for 2 years and my company is well established and the job is easy, but I honestly just want higher pay. I see companies (smaller and larger) that potentially can give me that but would it be worth it? I’m having a hard time finding out what opportunities/paths I can take and what amount of $ would be worth moving jobs for. Any insight is appreciated!

currently tossing up between staying at a global company (who is in the process of some positive changes) with an amazing manager who supports my career and flexible working … however comes with the inherit issues that come with a long standing global company

compared with a role at a smaller mga, higher salary (around 30%) more , more visibility career wise and some great employee benefits , management seem to be supportive and low staff turnover
