Hi Everyone! I have been working in Salesforce for about a year now. But I am not enjoying my work as it's mainly on backend. I have been wanting to move to Web Dev. But someone suggested that like if I like frontend I should try LWC instead as I'm already into Salesforce. So I'm quite confused which way should I go. Can anyone help me with the same Tata ConsultancyAccentureDeloitteZS AssociatesInfosysSalesforceSalesforceAmazonMicrosoft

What resources are you using?
Yeah … welcome to the world of non-stop studying
Are they paying a lot?
Is the expected TC of a data scientist compensation better than that of a senior consultant?

Technical positions tend to pay more than nontechnical positions at individual contributor (IC) levels, but this reverses further down the line. Consultant career trajectory is ultimately managerial (M), where as technical career trajectory is often terminal at principal IC levels. High ranking M positions out-earn high ranking IC ones most of the time, but the IC ones are more attainable.
The conversion in industry from IC to M is usually one or two down-levels (Sr IC -> manager, staff IC -> director, etc; depends on company). M technical positions will generally out-earn M non-technical positions, though things can shuffle at high levels, especially with execs from sales and finance.
Update, was rejected haha but still getting more data science interviews so that's uplifting at least
I feel ya. What are you using to study?
Not op, but personally using leetcode and interviewquery along with blind posts
What resources are you using? I am not getting any interviews 🥺
Also interested to know what you need to know.. haha, I’d also like to make the switch
Congrats, and good luck!
People are dming asking how I managed to get the interviews. I dont want to comment too much until I actually get an offer.
Idk what happened but a few months ago, I had 0 traction and suddenly, I have had at least 3+ interviews for data science this month (and more for other analytics roles in big tech companies). I guess YOE (have 2 only atm), relevant projects, and domain expertise (probably the main thing that helped) helps a lot. No referrals for these interviews too so I have been lucky.
We will see if I actually get an offer now though... fingers crossed

That's your perseverance paying off, sticking to it through September :) September and January are known corporate hiring sprees. A ton of people go on vacation at once, so there's crunch time pretty much everwhere right after.
Not saying you have to wait until January if these don't pan out though. Networking's a lot more reliable as a way to land interviews than applying into the ether is, should try that. Of course it helps to be networking way in advance if you wanna be genuine in your outreach... So I guess January's a good coincidental target for leveraging that network anyway.
Also, SEO your LinkedIn. Friend went from 1-2 recruiters a week to multiple daily, and that's without any prestigious names on their resume.
