A HR question I really want to understand. ISRS HR quoted a podcast "The not so great resignation" saying 70% regret leaving and many want to go back to old employer. If this really the case the employee likely left due to higher pay at the new company. If they want to boomerang back they will likely come back at even a higher rate than they left the new company for. So getting double raise when they boomeranged. Isn't it unbeneficial, why not just give employee a 7% raise in the first place?

I completed my interview loop at Google on August 12, 2022. My recruiter informed me on August 29th that due to a couple of realignments within the org, the hiring manager has not shared any feedback. I was informed on September 8th that the hiring committee is scheduled the next day (September 9th) and that I can expect a final feedback latest by September 12th. Hey folks, I'm getting an offer as a SC in EY UK. Presently I'm a manager with EY India (up for SM next yr Oct 2021). Comp is 55k range (haven't officially received the figure, a few more days it's expected, doing some homework before that).
