I graduated from college a year ago and I'm still unemployed. I feel guilty that I haven't been applying constantly but I got mental issues. I have applied for retail, did several interviews but no job offer:( I feel like I'm definitely not the right fit for retail due to the questions. Has anyone felt scared/anxious to do interviews after getting rejected? TIA

I am currently going through an interview process and one of the seven interviews is with someone I may be managing if I get this job. I actually love this idea and I look forward to learning from him/her. Has anyone gone through a similar interview before? What kind of questions were you asked? I’m assuming it’s more of a meet and greet with a mix of leadership related questions.

In the current lateral market what is the usual time for hearing a decision after a final round of interviews? For context, final round went really well, it’s not even been a week yet, they thought I was a great fit etc, said they’re expanding and looking to hire someone ASAP. Made a career pivot to another agency. During the interview we talked about how it may start as initially a "step backwards" (pay/benefits) but has potential for more long term growth. First day was yesterday. Had no communication about when or where to show up, sat in an empty office for about half an hour before a couple people finally showed. No phone call or email. Sent an email to the founder, no response. I could easily get my old job back if wanted.

I went for 3 interviews with a company met with vp and was given package thinking I aced interview there was another candidate 😞 the other person for the job. The VP calls me to tell me I didn’t get position however he wants me to re apply in new year that something else will be open, and that he wanted to keep a copy of my resume what does this mean ? Any books/self help materials for someone who is constantly worrying (and waste a lot of unnecessary time)? E.g. No matter if i pass or fail an interview, there is always something to worry about. The worrying/anxiety multiplies when I proceeded further in the interview stages. Now that I signed the offer and is pending background checks, my anxiety is off the roof as it itches closer to my starting date.
