Hi fishes,
I am planning a switch so was going through some salary data for a software engineer. My ex-senior manager recommended me a website: Growceed.com which helped me a lot in getting clarification about a lot of things but I am in doubt whether the average salaries of software engineer mentioned on Growceed.com really that much in top MNC companies.

Same old practice... Want 80% hike? Ask 120% hike!
We are in a world... Where current salary matters, especially at Accenture.

Lol...So if they give you 38% you'll walk away?
Chief
Depends on your current salary and depends on which team in Accenture? If it's Consulting ask for 35+, you'll get at least 30 and if it's ATCi ask for 25+ and you'll get at least 20. At your experience level most likely you will get level 9.
Would suggest you to go for 100% . These days org are paying that much of money. After that you can settle for 70-80%. And with Accenture specially, ask for more fixed component. They never pay more than 50-60% of variable.
