Dear fishes, After working in Autosar(CAN/FR/OS) configuration for 4 years, I wanted to switch domain to device drivers. So I bought a STM board. Joined some udemy courses. Learnt SPI/I2C/NVIC/exception handling and FREERTOS/OS. Now I want to apply to companies like Nvidia Texas Instruments Qualcomm NXP Without any prior experience I am a bit nervous as people say the interviews would be very difficult in these.
Please help with embedded and prog ques for these interviews.

Think of your current job as a place that's paying you to look for a new job. Call it semantics but when I had a job like yours this mental shift changed my perspective and it was transformative for me. As bad as your job is RN it’s much easier to find a job when you have one. Also, when interviewing/applying, please stick to the “looking for new opportunities narrative” rather than “my current environment is toxic.” Good luck in your search.

Have you thought of getting through the work weeks and then using the weekends to concentrate on job searching? Take the search right away from your work days. On work days, concentrate on work; on weekends concentrate on job searching, researching other possible fields, networking, etc.
You got this! Take care of your mental health and I wish you the best on finding a job that you like.
Don't quit. Keep going you can do it. It's you who controls your brain not your brain controlling you the same with your feelings. Do what you have to do no matter how exhausted you are. Know that things would never work out from the start but do know that it will eventually workout you just never know when and that's where the excitement is. Just put your head down, network, learn, improve l, rest up to kill it again the next day and repeat. Because it will all eventually pass by and then when you look back you will laugh at how trivial the situation is compared to you will be in the future. You can do it. Enjoy the ups and downs and don't let them give you and negative and bad feelings. Remember if there is one thing you can control in this world is yourself not what's going around you. YOU CAN DO IT!!! Hard work will always pay off no matter the situation you're in.
I'm in a similar situation as you are. I've been in the same company for 6 years and I've been trying to move for the last 4 😂 but unfortunately I just get rejected repeatedly. I just learnt to enjoy the rejections and have a quick laugh and breather before I move in to the next application it's their loss and not mine and I couldnt care less what anyone says. At this point you have many playing cards in the game you just need to to give it time until you get the correct cards and you will get the correct cards and eventually and hit jackpot. Like I said the don't be sad or annoyed replace thos feelings with excitement and watch how things change for the better. Continue to push forward no matter what. Hard work and patience will always pay off in the end.
try to hire a psychologist
also check your blood for typical reasons of anxiety/depression simptoms: vit D, thyroid, iron, ferritin, magnesium, glucose, sex hormones
for women sex hormones should be taken strictly on 3-5th day of a cycle
OP how u r progressing?
i focus on my sessions with psychologist, regular sport and sleep hygiene. i do these 3 things no matter what
these r 3 pillars of resilience right now in my life

Definitely not a healthy way to live, but it's a time when you are vulnerable to making other mistakes - jumping into a new career without proper training, accepting jobs that are beneath your skill level and struggling to pay the bills. You need to put some real thought into what you want to do next, and then find a network of people to help you get there. Also, if you have benefits that include psychologist therapy, that would be a good idea.
is there any other sphere of your life where you feel more in control? try to increase that feeling as it will increase your overall resilience
eg start sport or budgeting or making bed, or eating healthy or sleep hygiene
add small accomplishments to everyday life and say to yourself how good you are that you did it
btw at Accenture on your internal portal you can find how to get psychologist for free and fully anonymous
I feel the same way too
