I have 17+ years of experience with 3 years exp in genAI and 5 yrs in AI . Currently, I work as a genAI architect with a 34L package. [4-VA]. I have an interview scheduled, if all goes well, what would be a salary ask considering, that this skill is in high demand in the market now?

I’ve been at my current job a month shy of a full year, yet I have already seen that there are not a whole lot of promotions or raises to stretch for, but part of that comes from being hired in a little green for the role. I’m currently negotiating salaries on the west coast and am nearly certain we will reach an agreement soon. How do I give my two weeks without burning bridges?
