I have 2 offers at very different places. Big healthcare agency with a better title & really great team. Or a pre launch startup with great potential as a lead designer. Same $$. What would you pick?

Currently at Deloitte in Cyber (100% client facing) and just got an offer for an internal cyber role at McKinsey. Wanted to know if internal employees get the same benefits (PTO, 401k match, Grad school assistance for high performers) and if there were ever opportunities to move into 100% client facing roles for internal employees.

Nonaccounting question. Is it odd that my grandma doesn’t call or send a card for my birthday? She is 83 and in good health (mentally and physically). She lives alone and is on a fixed income so I understand not sending a card since she has 8 grandkids and 10 great grandkids and cards are so expensive now. But is it asking too much for a phone call on my birthday?

Recently switched over to a new team within my company, then I found out I was pregnant with my first. When do I let my team or manager know and when I plan to take maternity leave? It also hasn't been easy because I've been so sick during my first trimester

So I got a job offer for a firm making one third more than what I do now. BUT the glass door reviews are terrible (all negative one very recent) saying that the bosses use you and abuse you. Small firm but I want to pívot into practicing L&E (I currently do construction defect and insurance defense). Sooo Do I accept the offer and hope it’s not as bad as the reviews and if so, stick it out until I get enough experience to jump ship?
