Fishes, OK so this is true. Wipro is delaying the joining by half a month due to some restrictions or organisational changes & not ready to compensate for that half a month loss of salary. Very rude & absurd behaviour from them. Hence rejecting the offer as such company if u aren't sure when to ask for joining u may revoke the offer letter later on. Hence multiple options in hand is necessary nowadays. Infosys Tata Consultancy HCL Technologies

Got messaged by a C3 . ai recruiter. Read that wlb is bad and that the interview process is absurdly long, but the Glassdoor reviews are 4.2 and can't find actual hours worked posted by anyone. How's the culture really? I'd be aiming for DS consulting, something more functional but with DS/ML concepts as my differentiator.

Help that analyst by providing them a strong referral at a better organization than yours with promotion
Well regardless of how you tell them the analyst not getting promoted is definitely going to look for an exit. For me, it doesn’t really matter what you say at this point, it’s going to sound like senior management BS in my ears.
DA1, that's because it is senior management BS
Expect that analyst to look for other opportunities. If they deserve a promotion and don’t get it, there is no incentive to stay. Communicate with them the reason why, and support them with a solid referral and rec. elsewhere so they can get their promo and better comp.
Do the best you can and explain the circumstances and your decision. Then go a step further and give them their options going forward. Upfront and honest is always an appreciated trait
Promote the 2 analysts in 2 stage with couple of months gap between the promotions and while buying time, work on getting budget for the 3rd one. You need to find a fair evidence for the ranking though.
Smart
Take a cut in your bonus. Give it to the third analyst. And promote him. Alternatively find him a new account that wants to take a high performer at the promoted level.
Can an analyst even get that much more at a new gig. I thought the role was to get a promo then jump at junior levels
All 3 can be promoted but only 2 can continue on project. Just tell that to one you choose not to promote.
Try compensate the 3rd one with some good award if you have any and make him understand the best role promotion will be happening next cycle. Even he knows 3 out of 3 don't get promoted. It's gonna make him feel better that you are considering him equivalent to other 2 hence compensating with a award.
Hopefully it helps.
