One from a VERY good consulting firm, the other from a corporate company (pharmaceutical industry).Both in sustainability field, same salary.One 200km from home with possibility to work remotely most of the time (consulting), the other literally 850 meters from my house right now. The corporate company offers 6 months at first with the possibility to get a permanent contract afterwards.The consulting firm proposes a permanent contract. What should I do?

Should I Go Back and Reneg? Recently I was offered a role as a Project Implementation Manager (In Retirement Services) .The salary range for Colorado residents was 65-89K. I’m located in NY so the recruiter said he would try to get me more. Ultimately he came back at 90K which is a bit inline with that I was seeing on Glassdoor but approx looks like I may leave 10-12K on the table. I accepted already but may get an offer from another HR company in account management around 90-100K. Need advice

I recently discovered pay band information given to me by the HR generalist I'm working with on hiring was outdated and updated bands had been released over the summer (prior to my hire date). The outdated information had led me to believe a prime candidate was out of range. Aside from incompetence, can anyone think of a reason why HR might have withheld information about the pay bands? Was just told to "grow our ESG/CSR" practice at a regional consulting firm, due to my recent grad certification in sustainable biz strategy. Wondering where I should focus us as a services industry for big impact: we have a large product innovation, digital engineering area, and know in the past we've had a lot of lip service to clients and only recorded ESG for their compliance.

Hoping to make a big difference and include CSR/Sust audits and projects beyond for our clients! Any tips?

@EY sustainable finance team, is there an appetite to accept an internal transfer from the Digital finance practice (M based out of London)? What steps would you recommend to make that happen?

I'm aiming to pivot from from a public policy oriented career to a career in finance, focused on sustainability.

Would it be advisable to pursue an MBA or Masters in Finance? or perhaps finesse my way onto an ESG team and learn by doing?
