I have a great PM offer that’s hybrid 2-3x a week and will probably become fully onsite later. I’m interested in remote jobs now (because of personal situation) and still have a few companies I’m interviewing now.

I’m unemployed for 6 months, financially fine but I’m worried that the resume gap is getting bigger

Would it be a bad idea to take this offer now, keep interviewing and jump ship once I get the remote job in 1-2 months?

I’m in Deloitte human capital and want to eventually (but sooner rather than later) move to industry doing internal talent/people stuff. My coach recommended getting SPHR or equivalent. Thoughts?

Gave my 2-week notice and Partner has asked me stay an extra 3 days to wrap up a project that I know will be a very long 3 days... I don’t really want to do it but also am afraid of burning bridge. I said yes to the Partner but now kind of regret it. This job has made me sacrifice my health and I don’t want to work those extra 3 days. I wonder what’s the best way to tell them.

Interviewing at a startup that is pre-IPO and was told IPO may happen 12-18 months because growth has been incredible. I’ve never worked for a true startup before. Any words of advice? Pros? Cons? I have an offer to join a startup as an APM. The only downside is that the engineering team is located offshore in India. I’m concerned about the resulting impact because of 1) the potential late night calls 2) the learning opportunities missed by not working with a US engineering team (communication tactics, translatable skills) 3) potential exit opps into FAANG pm roles due to not having experience with an onshore eng team.
