Hi All,
I just got a call from KLA Company's HR that I have cleared final round and there is a HR round today evening for salary discussions.
The role is for Frontend Developer(Angular).
I have 3.1 years of experience.
CCTC - 13.2 LPA (all fixed)
Holding offer of 17.5 from service company in Pune.
Does anybody have any reviews for this company for the s/w department?
How much should I ask?
What are the other ways I can negotiate? Like do they provide RSUs?
KLA Corporation
Thank you
The new company I’m at now sent me an email from an email address that was HR@companyName.careers saying I was accepted for the position. They gave me paperwork to fill out and sign to accept the position
I fill out the paperwork and send it back to them and it goes through… then a few days later I go back to the email to say something else and I get this…?
Then today I got a check from the company In the mail to setup my home office, and it’s signed by someone I’ve never met before or heard of…?
What…..

Our normal MBA entry point is Associate 2. The Associate levels are 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5. So you’re a good way to EM and definitely above MBA entry, though not tremendously so. Sounds like a reasonable offer given your experience.
Yes. Sorry for being unclear. My 80% is of all AS3.0. I was trying to provide a baseline and then factors that will mean OP would deviate from it. Having nearly the full year to prove him/herself will help get close to that baseline, but probably still below by a little. And of course, his/her actual ability matters too!
One thing to note is that even though you are coming in as AS3, with experienced hires, OW often staffs them below the level that they come in as (to help with adjustment to the role, firm, etc.). So chances are you will be staffed on your first project or two as AS1/2, making it a little tougher to make EM in one year esp if you’re new to consulting.
Wish someone has told me that before I came in
Thanks OW3. It's very helpful of you.
Hey just wondering how was the interview like?
Thought it was quite efficient. Mix of case &
fit. For an EH, they asked a lot about my previous work experience, which isn’t surprising, so I talked through projects that were relevant. Definitely got the opportunity to nerd out with the team. I spoke with 3 Partners, 2 principals, and an EM.
Think comp currently for AS3 is 175 salary and 190 TC, our comp system (simplified) is whatever you get promoted to minus salary so if you get to EM1 it would be 212-175 (so 42k) but we also have a year end adjustment coming and since you’d join after our year end review process, it’ll be a full year before you’re reviewed (so you can definitely expect some progression as long as you have relatively good performance)
Agree that it’s relatively easy to make EM from an AS3 start. Also F&R is a great practice (currently in it) - people and project wise (as long as you’re interest in our topics) so congrats on joining!!
