I have a Master’s in Financial Engineering, passed Level II of the CFA, and I’m currently being rejected for entry-level credit analyst roles for being over-educated. I don’t have the institutional experience for the senior tracks. They’re worried I’ll get bored and leave, but I just need to pay my rent and get some actual experience. How do you pitch yourself in this situation?
