What exactly does your company do?
If you’re an independent company, I’d also want to pay for results. What business model would you prefer to have?
That's a great question. My company is a services company, I offer specialized and tailor-made solutions for companies that want to expand into the European market. The European market is very complex and resistant, so it needs time and focus to make it work. People think that they just have to send a box of their products and I would offer for people/companies and I would get a % for it, but it just doesn't work like this. I explain it for them, but still they ask me for meetings with the intention to negotiate it.
Agreed it’s unclear what the mission or goal of your company is…you should be direct and specific with the customer you are aiming to serve and the value you provide.
Gotcha… although you’ve given a short explanation here I sense your pitch could use some work.
If you’re not getting the clients you desire it’s still on you to tighten your pitch and package until that happens- it’s not easy but very much worth it in the long run.
I highly recommend connecting with a well known business coach or senior colleagues who work in sales + consulting for feedback.
Some thoughts I am already having are-
-your offer is too broad - can you narrow down to servicing few specific industries or just one industry in Europe
-can you narrow down to a specific region or country in Europe vs. “European market”, this threw me off even even when you explained it here
- is there anyway you can numerize/itemize the potential impact you’d leave them, or is profitably and future sales the only benefit to those that work with you
