Go for UBS
On site opportunities : ZS
WLB : UBS
That 10% shouldn't be a deciding factor
UBS
Go for UBS if you only need WLB that to subject to which Project you are. UBS also has some good hr policies like tonnes of leaves (approx 2 months paid leaves) that one can never exhaust in a year ever. In terms of hikes, it is really poor. I got my first hike after almost 1 and a half year. No onsite here for UBS employees, only vendor and contractual employees get the chance. Had seldom worked on weekends. UBS is good only for those who want to settle in life, have a WLB and when technology stack doesn't matter much for you
Rising Star
Hey, do you know how is their Group Internal Audit (GIA) function?
Zs has great opportunities if you want to diversify your portfolio
10% is not a big deal .
How is work in ZS also how is WLB ??
Do they expect us to work on weekends ??
ZS and WLB don't go hand in hand. It's zero in my case atleast.
Does zs expect us to work on weekends ?
It actually depends on the project. It's not a standard ZS expectation to be available for work on weekends.
Adding my perspective to your original post - I've been with ZS for a little over 4 yrs now. The culture is great, offers good learning curve and leadership opportunities quite early on. Yes WLB is not good in majority of the projects, but some projects do have good enough balance. Even if you do end up in a project with bad WLB you can work with your manager to shift into a different project. Leadership here does provide such support and guidance.
ZS provides good hike each year and avg 10 to 15% bonus each year.
Hope this helps!
And all the best with whichever option you choose :)
I worked in both UBS and ZS before . So I can answer this better
If work life balnce is priority , ZS is BIG NO . UBS is big yes .
If Money and Hike is priority join ZS and UBS has very poor hike even on top rating .
