Hi Guyz,
Any one from IBM ?
I went through the entire recruitment process and got selected for IBM ISL. Now I am being told by the HR that they are unable to release offer as there is a hiring freeze.
Can any one please tell me if its correct or just an excuse not to give me offer. If its true, when will this freeze be removed?

Remote works are in extinction and companies not hiring people that are refusing to come to the office. Simple as that
Spoken like someone who needs to retire.
Right now, people at higher levels are stepping down to get into remote jobs. So if you are applying for something at or above your level, you are competing with people sometimes two to three levels higher than you for that position. Additionally, salaries for these remote positions are still appealing cause the company no longer has the office overhead. This is making it really tough to move up and also go remote.
This exactly. I'm looking at a possible remote 'step-down', as the time/cost of traveling into the office make the lower level (remote) job more appealing.
